Spokane Sees First Case of Measles in Two Decades!
An unvaccinated man showed up at a Spokane ER this week with measles. This was the first case of measles reported in Spokane in 21 years! Because the disease is so contagious anyone who breathed the same air or touched the same surfaces any time in the previous week have been exposed!
He was the 9th person to be diagnosed with measles in Washington state this year, the 5th adult and the sixth male. The first in Spokane County.
The list of places he went while contagious included a clinic (he hadn't been feeling well), a gym and a popular Mexican restaurant.
