SUV Runs Stop Sign, Blasts Taxi, Injures Passenger
A citation is likely being issued for the driver of an SUV who blew a stop sign in Kennewick, and took out a Tri-City Taxi van.
Monday evening Kennewick police responded to the intersection of Deschutes and Fruitland, and found a lot of metal and car parts in the road.
Officers say the driver of the SUV failed to stop at the sign, and slammed the Tri-City Taxi van. An 18-year-old female passenger in the taxi was evaluated for minor injuries, not known if they were taken to the hospital.
