Protected species in Washington such as the greater sage-grouse and snowy owl are at risk from a few common mistakes by bird watchers.

So after a post I did last week about a little birdie that hit my picture window, and was is shock for a while and me wanting to know what species it was, I found a really cool new business now open in Richland just for birders!

So several times a year birds fly into our back patio picture windows. A few have not made it and a few just sit there stunned and in shock. Well it happened again yesterday afternoon.

I spotted a story this morning out of Tukwila Washington and I thought to myself WTF? Here the story as reported by KIRO  a man lost control of his car in the wee hours of the morning while watching/following an owl....For REAL
