Winter Storm

The Tri-Cities is currently under a winter weather advisory beginning this evening through at least Thursday afternoon, don't worry this storm is not looking as bad as the last one at least here in Tri-Cities not so much for Walla Walla.

It was a 30 minute ordeal as a school bus got stuck in snow on Shea Road 20 miles north of Waitsburg.

They are calling this the 70 year storm and it sure has wreaked havoc for the entire state of Washington many of the major roads surrounding the Tri-Cities are impassible and have been closed...

a massive atmospheric river would hit the Oregon and Washington Coast...

According to the Washington Department of Transportation, I-82 is closed due to the weather from just outside the Tri-Cities to mile post 132 near Oregon. It is predicted to reopen this afternoon.

Expecting a few more snow showers throughout the afternoon and evening.  Temperatures will remain below freezing so roadways will continue to be slick and dangerous for drivers.  Expect more school delays and cancellations on Thursday.   Live reports begin at 5am with the morning crew.
