What started out as two hunters hoping to bag a buck, turned into a real-life nightmare for a man and his grandson.

Can you imagine being lost in a forest of trees and having absolutely NO IDEA where you left your vehicle?

Last Sunday, November 8th, 17-year-old Jesse Bryan and 64-year-old Bruce Bryan got lost in the Coyote Ridge area while hunting elk.

The duo hiked down a trail to the river.  After several hours, they were disoriented and unable to locate the trail or get a signal with their GPS.

At 7:40 pm, they finally had a cell signal and were able to call 9-1-1.

Thanks to the help of search and rescue volunteers, and Umatilla County officers, the hunters were FINALLY located...the FOLLOWING MORNING.
