It's simply horrifying what is happening right now in California. I have many friends in the Los Angeles area who have had to leave their homes and evacuate.

One friend watched their home burn from a neighbor's Ring camera after evacuating. Two deaths have been reported and many have been injured.

You may have seen on the News, that many cars had to be abandoned after residents tried to leave the area but couldn't get through and had to get out of their vehicles and run to safety leaving rows of cars blocking the roadways.

Later those vehicles had to be bull-dozed to make a route for firefighters to bring in hoses and water.

Washington Fire Crews are awaiting a call to see if they will be headed to California to help the firefighting efforts.

According to KOMO News:  In a regional meeting including the Washington Emergency Management Division Wednesday afternoon, officials will decide how many crews and which resources from area fire departments will be going to the Los Angeles area.

California is such a thriving and beautiful State. It's devastating to see this happen and my heart goes out to the people who are fearful for their pets, and their homes and family.

I also worry about the Firefighters who are battling these blazes and pray for their safety.

I hope they can make some progress on containing these fires. I believe there are three that so far have 0% contained.

When you see the pictures it looks like the whole state is almost on Fire. The wind isn't helping. Let's hope something does!

Here is a link about ways you can help with the California devastation.
