Weekend Box Office – ‘The Hunger Games’ Marches On to Another First-Place Finish
The juggernaut known as ‘The Hunger Games’ shows no signs of slowing down — it sold another $33.5 million in tickets to take the top spot at the box office for the third weekend in a row.
‘American Reunion,’ the latest in the ‘American Pie’ film franchise, came in second with a $21.4 million debut, while the 3D reboot of ‘Titanic’ took third with $17.3 million in revenues.
‘Wrath of the Titans’ and ‘Mirror Mirror’ rounded out the top five, earning $15 million and $11 million, respectively.
