Shopko has come and gone but luckily the building is getting a $2.6 million makeover and a new tenant.

"At Home" is a home decor retailer. You can check out their website here.

It'll soon lease the old Shopko building after the clothing retailer went bankrupt earlier this year.

The closure left prime real estate next door to the always-busy Ranch & Home. Its 106,000-square-foot building with heavy Columbia Center traffic couldn't stay empty.

Renovations have started and At Home is looking to be serving customers starting this fall.

The At Home company (formerly known as Garden Something) already has 180 stores in 36 states and are currently in Puyallup, Spokane and Coeur d'alene and will add Kennewick soon their to roster.

You can check out more details on the new store here.
