Harold Perrineau Plays a Guardian Angel on New “Constantine” [CELEBRITY INTERVIEW]
"Constantine" premieres Friday at 10 p.m. on NBC right after "Grimm." The show is based on the graphic novel "Hellblazer" and TV star Harold Perrineau joined us on the Morning Show to give us a preview.
He's an angel, but not the bumbling "Clarence" kind of angel from "It's a Wonderful Life." He's a warrior angel. He and "Constantine" don't necessarily like each other, but they're charged to work together.
This show is more loyal to the comic book than previous interpretations, but "Manny" is a creation for the NBC show.
