How To See the Seattle Aquarium in Less Than an Hour and a Half

Visitors of the Seattle Aquarium would seldom want to see all of the exhibits in less than an hour and a half, but if you are in the city of Seattle and are pressed for time, you can still see everything and not feel like you have wasted the $30+ adult entry fee to get in. During an outing to attend the Seattle Seahawks Training Camp Kids Day event, we decided to head to the Seattle Aquarium after we returned to our car in the parking garage. The hours of the Aquarium are 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. every day of the week. We arrived at 4:34 p.m. Instead of fretting that we wouldn't get to see all of the exhibits, we came up with a great plan of how to see everything by closing time!

HOW WE SAW THE SEATTLE AQUARIUM IN LESS THAN AN HOUR AND A HALF

My daughter Willow ran over to the Aquarium map of exhibits which is right past the Photo Booth area. I asked her which exhibits she HAD to see before we left and she chose the Marine Mammals. I noted that there was a bird exhibit close by the mammals, so I suggested that we check out all of the fish and low-tide animals first. That was a great choice because we were able to view all of the sea creatures! Visitors at the Seattle Aquarium are even allowed to touch some of them in the water, but not any fish.

My child and I were able to see the otters, seals, birds, sea creatures, and the fake dolphin tail exhibits with 8 minutes left to spare before closing time! It can be done, you CAN see the Seattle Aquarium in less than an hour and a half if you walk fast enough and get there when the crowds are light!
