New Celebrity Interview: Silas Weir Mitchell is Monroe on NBC’s “Grimm”

Big Jim & Stacy Lee had a great time chatting with Silas Weir Mitchell this morning. Listen to the recording below. Mitchell plays the character Monroe on "Grimm." Stacy doesn't miss an episode -- it's a family thing, she said.

In the show, Mitchell is supposed to be Grimm's enemy, but he agrees to teach him the ropes after they form an alliance.

For the first five weeks this season you can catch the same episode on Monday AND Friday before it switches to just Friday.

Some big plot development is planned for the near future, Mitchell said.

The show is filmed in Portland, OR. Mitchell said it reminds him of New England. "Same kind of spruce trees, evergreens, the really rich soil... I feel at home there, it really is nice."
