The best part of the trip is the entertainment is free to observe. Schreiner Farms, right across the Columbia River, in Dallesport Washington has over 18 species of exotic animals to observe.

You are able to stay in your vehicle and enjoy the operating cattle ranch that has amazing inhabitants that including elk, donkeys, and reindeer.

You'll observe camels, bison, emu, zebras, giraffes, and everything in between.

The animals are not enclosed in tiny pens like a zoo but roam in spacious wide-open areas.

Schreiner Farms has over 12,000 acres for exotic animals to roam and you'll never know what you'll see on your tour. I even saw reindeer which the young kids will surely enjoy.

• We are open from 9 am to dusk

• stay in your vehicle

• stay on the main road and turn around at the giraffe barn. There is a sign there

• yield to farm traffic (tractors, quads, and pickups)

• No Smoking

• do not litter or throw anything out of your vehicle

Schreiner Farms is a real working cattle ranch so you have to be courteous of the farmers and ranchers and especially the animals.
