Authorities in Franklin County continue to have problems with individuals leaving excessive amounts of garbage in local fishing holes, trailheads and parks.

The accident happened over the weekend on Saturday according to the Franklin County Sheriff's Department.

The report says a 28-year-old man from Walla Walla and his wife went on a hike at Palouse Falls. When they neared the bottom of the falls, a rock dislodged from above striking the man on the head.
