What Is America’s Favorite Candy?
When it comes to candy, Americans like a brand name which has been around for a long time. In fact, almost all of the best selling candy bars in the United States were introduced before World War Two.
That would include the top four candy brands. They are M&Ms, with $673.2 million in annual sales, followed by Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups ($516 million) Hershey’s bars ($475 million) and Snickers ($441.1 million.) Orbitz, a relatively new gum brand, snagged the fifth spot with $381.7 million in sales.
