Yakima’s Zach J Debuts On Tonight’s Bachelorette!

We have been talking about this for awhile now, tonight is the premiere of Season 16 of 'The Bachelorette' on ABC. A good reason to watch? Yakima represented tonight by one of the contestants.

We’ve talked about Zach Jackson before. He is 37 years old and will go by Zach J on the show. Zach is a Davis High School grad in Yakima. He has since moved to St. George Utah and runs a cleaning business there. So you may see conflicting info as he is from Yakima, but currently lives in St. George.

There are 31 contestants vying for the heart of Clare Crawley, this season’s The Bachelorette. She is 38 and is a hairstylist from Sacramento California. She was featured on a previous season of 'The Bacherlor' featuring Juan Pablo. So we are looking for Zach J to pull out all the stops to separate himself from the pack. Flash those pearly whites dude. We need you to represent!

Another reason to watch? Country music represented on the show by contestant Tyler Smith (going by Tyler S on the show). Tyler is the brother of country music star Granger Smith (‘Backroad Song’ and ‘Happens Like This’) and serves as his manager. Tyler hails from Texas.

I have an insider affiliated with the show, so I promise - no spoilers here – but will give you heads up on “points of interest” on the show as the season progresses. I am told there will be some drama and major shakeups on the show and some pretty aggressive eliminations moving forward. We’ll see it all unfold tonight.

Season 16 of the Bachelorette begins tonight 8pm on ABC, KAPP-TV in Yakima.
