Many of us made a New Year's resolution to lose weight. I did and so far I'm doing okay.As we all know any weight loss program has to include a reduction in calories and exercise.

 I'm always looking for ways to get some extra exercise other than going to a gym. A recent study by New York Cities Department of Health suggests climbing stairs. They say the average American gains about 1 pound per year, however just 2 minutes of stair climbing each day can offset that extra pound of weight.

So get busy and take the stairs!
